REDUCTION IN PRICE OF GAS-TO-POWER

SUPER TUCANO AIRCRAFT ARRIVE NIGERIA
The first batch of A-29 Super Tucano aircraft arrived Kano on 22 July 2021 at about 12.34pm. On hand to receive the aircraft were the Honourable Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (Rtd), Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao. #SecuringNigeria
FEC today approved the construction/reconstruction of 5 Federal Roads, totaling 274.9km under the Federal Government’s Roads Infrastructure Investment Tax Credit policy, aka Executive Order 7. The five roads will cost N309,917,717,251.35, to be advanced by the Dangote Industries, and repaid as tax credit. This is the largest single award of concrete roads ever undertaken by the FGN in one award.

This morning at the State House, President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo decorated the new Chief of Army Staff, Faruk Yahaya, with his new rank of Lieutenant General.
Speaking to the press after the ceremony, the new Chief of Army Staff noted that “Many of them [bandits and criminal elements] have been sent to God to answer for their crimes, and we will continue to do that.”
Under the Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP), the Federal Government has released N5 billion to support local airlines, ground handlers and other aviation allied businesses. Of this sum, 7 scheduled operators, comprising Dana, Overland, Airpeace, Azman, Aero, Arik, and Max Air received N2.84 billion; while 20 non-scheduled operators, comprising Cargo and Private Jet Services received N949,909,000.
