Sometimes when something hasn’t worked out well in the past, it’s natural to convince yourself that somethings are destined never to work out in the future as well.
Primarily, history does not have to repeat itself. And, if you can remember this, and learn to take things on step by step basis, then you can let go a lot of your negative thinking and be all the happier for it
Something that commonly triggers many people with depression is making a simple little mistake such as missing a bus forgetting their phone. But, these relatively minor mishaps are more than capable of making people with depression hate themselves and feel like a hopeless.

About 2 hours before you plan to go to bed, stop doing things that stimulate you, and start doing things that help you wind down.
Stop: Using social media, watching the news, exercising, checking your work emails, or engaging in heated debates.
Instead: Have a hot shower, read a book while lying on the couch, meditate, or listen to soothing music
